As you all know, I have been planning on having another give-away for quite a while now, but I wanted to wait for a special occasion… So here it is, for all those soon to be mommies, new mommies, or more experienced mommies… this is your time to get pampered by me. So once again, I'm giving away some of my babies!
This time there will be 6 lucky winners and each will get 40 (forty) 6 1/2" squares in an assortment of all my collections, just to play and have pure fun…
So here's the deal, just share with me and other readers…
WHAT WOULD BE THE PERFECT MOTHER'S DAY FOR YOU?
I am pretty sure you all have wonderful plans.
So I guess you are wondering, who wins? Oh well, since I struggled sooo much choosing the winners for my last give-away, I'm leaving it to chance (and I'm sure this will not be any different- you have so many great stories!!!). I will choose six RANDOM winners, so…. GOOD LUCK!
You have until MOTHER'S DAY (Sunday May 10th) midnight to post your comment…. Meanwhile, I will be getting your fabric squares ready (that together with a trillion other things I have to do for Quilt Market!). Be sure to include your e-mail address to contact you…
I have a lot more coming up, so don't forget to subscribe (if you are not family yet, of course) to get a jump on future give-aways and much more.
By the way, stay tuned for the third sneak peak. The name? SPELLBOUND.
Handmade rocks… So let's keep on stitching!
Patricia

I’m not a mom, but I’d spend it with my mom working on the quilt she and I are making for her bed. It’s made from 30 years of remnants from all of the Hawaiian fabric from shirts she has made for the two of us over the years.

Perfect is not a word in the vocabulary of most mothers; however, a wonderful imperfect Mother’s Day for me would include my daughters (5 and 2) and husband, playing in the backyard and helping with the garden. There would be swinging on swings. There would be grilling on the grill. There would be sun in the sky and pets resting on the lawn. Nobody would cry or fuss. Just a day at home together with as little stress as possible.

My perfect mothers’ day would be a nice quiet day at home watching movies with the kids. Curling up in pj’s and blankets with snacks! Just a nice happy, relaxing time…

Oh – is there a perfect Mother’s Day? Torn between spending it with my three kids and husband OR just a day ALL BY MYSELF.
It will end up being a McDs drive through for breakfast and a quiet hour while they are getting said breakfast.
That is becoming our tradition, so, that makes it perfect!

The perfect Mothers Day for me would be making sure my mom had a great day (I’m not a mom yet myself). We’d probably go for a hike in the morning and spend the afternoon visiting one of her friends, and I’d cook a nice supper for her.

A perfect Mother’s Day for me would be waking up to my two little fellas and have them hug me and bring me coffee in bed (they can’t carry it of course). Then they would agree to not argue of have any naughty behavior for the entire day!!! Lots of laughter and playing games with them.
Smiles,
Kelly

Wow….what gorgeous fabric and a fantastic giveaway. Thank you.
My ideal mother’s day is where my DH and daughter spoil me the whole day….A lovely chat with both my mom and mother in law (both are really great women). A day of being pampered and doing my own crafting with no interruptions.

Perfect Mothers Day for me…
Magically flying to Michigan, under the apple tree in the hammock with my Mom, tea or lemonade close, reading together. Just being close.
Magically flying home to Arizona for an easy picnic-at-the-park dinner with my honey and our kids. Melty ice cream cones and teeter-totters. Lotsa pictures.
A leisurely bike ride with my oldest, she’s 10.
A nice snuggle in the hatchback of the car with everyone, including our cat, to watch a funny drive-in movie.

This Mother’s Day, I’d love to be able to have a conversation with my Mom. She’s far away in Alzheimer’s, even though she lives with me. I’m hoping to see my Daughter and her Daughters, all three of them. That would be a lovely thing!
Anyhoo, your fabrics a absolutely edible, m’dear! I hope I win some!

The perfect mother’s day for me would be if my little one would show his/her face in the world!! I’m nine days late and so anxious for my baby to be here!

This is a wonderful give-away! Thank you so much!
If I had my wish for Mother’s Day, it would be to be in Alabama with my 2 daughters and my grandchildren. I live in NC and we won’t be able to go because we are planting our tobacco crop. My mother, who also lives in Alabama, is on her way to Florida to spend the holiday with her sister. I hope they have tons of fun! Happy Mother’s Day!!!

Hi! What a generous way to celebrate Mother’s Day! As my mum is a bit far away, I think the best way to celebrate it would be getting together with her for a fabulous day of pampering!! I miss her so much that only by being by her side I’d be really happy! Thanks a lot!!

My perfect mothers day would be simple…waking up to my kids jumping up onto my bed and saying “Happy Momma Day” and “Mommy I wuv you”. Plain and simple….I wouldn’t be celebrating if it were not for my 3 little babies. Just seeing the twinkle in the eyes and the grin on their face is the best gift a mom could ever ask for.

My perfect Mother’s Day will be spent with my little boy. I adore the little bugger. And he supports me in my fabric addiction “Momma, can we go to the fabric store today?” :)

My three boys and hubby will be making me dinner, which is what I prefer to going out. When all the boys are here at the same time, as well as my DIL, DIL-to-be, and my two grand-daughters (just turned one, and just turned one month), that’s a perfect day for me. Then later, I’ll go and spend some time with my mom, who has a hard time getting out.

Sewing on Mother’s Day would be the best treat ever. Maybe one day when my kids get older and aren’t trying to climb in my lap while I am binding a quilt…..

Love the fabric!!! A perfect mother’s day is one where I do no cooking. In fact no one has to cook. We just eat whatever is around. Then we go ride horses the family can come but when we get back I get a couple of hours sewing with a quiet house. Sigh, that is a perfect day!!!

My perfect mothers day would be to have time for just me. Some sewing, some baking some spinning some knitting or just watching a movie I enjoy. That would be perfect!

My perfect mother’s day would be to get to quilt all day long. Unfortunetly I didn’t get to do that since we have to go visit my husband’s mother. I long for one whole day to quilt! If I win I will put this fabric in the pile for my church group I just set up. I did post a gift for my mother on my blog since she lives across the US from me. It was 10 things I love and appreciate most about her.

I get tired of cards so I know she reads my blog daily to read about my bible reading so I figured what a better way then for her to see this just for her when she reads my blog. I do miss her! She doesn’t quilt like me but I am working on a christmas gift for her from all the grandkids.
I didn’t get my perfect mother’s day but I still had a wonderful breakfast made for me with flowers on the table along with my little six year old giving me a homemade gift.
