As you all know, I have been planning on having another give-away for quite a while now, but I wanted to wait for a special occasion… So here it is, for all those soon to be mommies, new mommies, or more experienced mommies… this is your time to get pampered by me. So once again, I'm giving away some of my babies!
This time there will be 6 lucky winners and each will get 40 (forty) 6 1/2" squares in an assortment of all my collections, just to play and have pure fun…
So here's the deal, just share with me and other readers…
WHAT WOULD BE THE PERFECT MOTHER'S DAY FOR YOU?
I am pretty sure you all have wonderful plans.
So I guess you are wondering, who wins? Oh well, since I struggled sooo much choosing the winners for my last give-away, I'm leaving it to chance (and I'm sure this will not be any different- you have so many great stories!!!). I will choose six RANDOM winners, so…. GOOD LUCK!
You have until MOTHER'S DAY (Sunday May 10th) midnight to post your comment…. Meanwhile, I will be getting your fabric squares ready (that together with a trillion other things I have to do for Quilt Market!). Be sure to include your e-mail address to contact you…
I have a lot more coming up, so don't forget to subscribe (if you are not family yet, of course) to get a jump on future give-aways and much more.
By the way, stay tuned for the third sneak peak. The name? SPELLBOUND.
Handmade rocks… So let's keep on stitching!
Patricia

Perfect Mother’s Day? Laughing with my boys, not having to cook or clean for them but just enjoy them. Sunshine. Warm grass to sit on. A quilt to bind. A soccer ball to get up and kick around with them.

My perfect mother’s day is spending it with the ones who made me a mother! They really know how to spoil me with breakfast in bed, special gifts, and anything they think would make my day more special… and I love it!!

All my kids are grown now, and they treat me pretty good on Mother’s Day. My favorite thing is that I don’t have to do any cooking or wash any dishes on Mother’s Day – that’s the BEST gift! LOL And spending time with the family is a must.

For my mom for mothers day I signed us up to take a quilting class together! My mom knows how to sew and makes clothes and curtains all the time but I’ve been wanting to learn how to quilt and when I mentioned it to her she said she would like to learn too, a more creative outlet for her sewing. It’s the gift that keeps giving, this weekend we are going to pick out fabrics together, next weekend we will wash and iron and get all the supplies together so the Monday after mother’s day her and I will start a 4 session quilting class together. She’s really excited to spend the time with me since I’ve moved back to the area after college.

I have three children under 4 so, while I love them with all of my heart and soul, if I want to be honest and maybe a little selfish, my perfect mother’s day would be a few uninterrupted hours of crafting. I’m sure that used to happen, I just can’t remember what it’s like.

Beautiful fabrics! I think the best Mother’s Day gift would to have someone else do all the cooking for the day…that would be nice ;o)

I am currently 29 weeks pregnant- 30 weeks on Mother’s day. Though this is my 3rd Mother’s day. What I really want is a pedicure. It’s getting hard to clip toenails and painting is impossible. It’s one of the few things I can do to pamper myself. It would be nice to lay around reading a trashy romance, as well.

I have fond memories of snuggling in bed with the babies when they were still cuddly, and surviving the holiday frenzy. I loved the great cards they made for Mother’s Day when they were school age. Now that they are men, I look forward to that Mother’s Day brunch with them and my parents, too.!

Amazing giveaway! Thanks so much for being so generous with your readers!
Not to get the sympathy vote, but since you asked, the perfect Mother’s Day for me would be to introduce my boys to my mother and grandmother. They both passed away before the boys were born and/or they got to meet them.
Happy May Day!

I am about to be a second time mom with my babies only being 14 months apart. My perfect Mother’s Day would be to pay off all our debt so that I don’t have to worry about getting my babies what they need. Since that won’t happen a relaxing day with my hubby and daughter would be perfect.

My perfect Mothers Day? We’d wake up late because my 2 1/2 year old daughter slept in, then get ready for the day. My husband would treat us to brunch at Le Peep, my favorite brunch place, then we’d head over to church. After church, we’d come home and all take a nice nap, then wake up and go for a walk… A light dinner, romantic movie and early bedtime round out the day perfectly!

Oh man, a perfect day? Sleeping in with no screaming (19 month old who is in the screeching stage). Brunch with lots and lots of bacon (can never have too much bacon). Maybe a nice bike ride with my husband and son and then a nap. Oh, and then they go away for a while and leave me in a quiet, quiet house (sensing a theme?). And a relaxed dinner with some playtime–perhaps both before and after the kid goes to sleep. ;-)

In general a great mothers day would be actually convincing my mom not to do any laundry or dishes and cooking a great meal for her. Also I would make her a super double-sided, full apron since she has been eyeing them for a while.

I am a mother of two and if I could have the perfect Mother’s Day I would like to do whatever was my pleasure with no concerns about cleaning, cooking, or anything. I doubt that I could ever let myself have a day like that but if everyone made me…. well, that would be real special.

My awesome Mother’s Day would be if my 20 (almost 21 yr old son) could find a job. That way I wouldn’t have to give him the money to buy me a Mother’s Day gift.

A perfect Mother’s Day would be a Sunday Craftacular! My mom and my 19 yr old daughter and I all craft in various media, and sometimes we do get together. I would love to sit around the kitchen table and play with beads and yarn, have some iced tea and lemon cookies, giggle and have fun together, because you just never know when you’ll get the next chance!

My best Mother’s Day? Simple. Just have a chance to spend ti with my mom. Unfortunately impossible. Why? You are wondering. Unfortunately, my mom died 20 years ago. Not even 33 years old. But we are together every day, in my mind. I know that she is my guardian angel and looking after me from heaven.
Best regards from sLOVEnia, Tanja

For me, this year’s perfect mother’s day, since I’m not a mommy yet, will be to spend it with MY mom, who has just been operated and will be sent home tomorrow. Sunday I will go down to her house to cheer her up. I actually have a stitchy present I made for her in my patchwork class. Maybe next year I will be able to make her something else with these wonderful squares?? :-)
Thanks for the chance to win!

I’m not a mommy yet (hoping to be one day) but if I were a mom (busy as they are) I would want one day that was purely mine (I know moms lose a lot of their own time to their kids) to craft, thrift, and whatever I wanted followed by a lovely family dinner that I wouldn’t have to cook or clean up.

The perfect Mother’s Day for me would be to finally have my baby here and get to be a mommy! I was due yesterday (but I guess no one told baby!) and if I don’t go into labor by the 11th I have to be induced. Hopefully he/she will be here on Mother’s Day or before!!

Spending Mother’s Day with my mum in England didn’t happen (it’s in March over there), so…
My perfect Mother’s Day would be getting to sleep-in. Then my kids would quietly spend the day playing with each other, without needing a referee. I would be able to work on my to-do list without having to worry that they are getting into mischief. Then I would have a long bath with a book to read. And there would be English chocolate to eat.

I’m not a Mother either, but I would definitely love to win your giveaway. My Mother’s birthday is actually in August and one of the things that I want to is make her a quilt as part of her present. Your fabrics would definitely help in making that thought come alive! Keep up the great work and I can’t wait to see the new line!

How generous!! My perfect Mother’s day would involve time travel in Mr. Peabody’s WABAC (wayback) machine, resulting in handmade cards from, and cuddling with, my adorable daughters. They are still very adorable, but being grown women, these days the cuddling and crafts are minimal.
