As you all know, I have been planning on having another give-away for quite a while now, but I wanted to wait for a special occasion… So here it is, for all those soon to be mommies, new mommies, or more experienced mommies… this is your time to get pampered by me. So once again, I'm giving away some of my babies!
This time there will be 6 lucky winners and each will get 40 (forty) 6 1/2" squares in an assortment of all my collections, just to play and have pure fun…
So here's the deal, just share with me and other readers…
WHAT WOULD BE THE PERFECT MOTHER'S DAY FOR YOU?
I am pretty sure you all have wonderful plans.
So I guess you are wondering, who wins? Oh well, since I struggled sooo much choosing the winners for my last give-away, I'm leaving it to chance (and I'm sure this will not be any different- you have so many great stories!!!). I will choose six RANDOM winners, so…. GOOD LUCK!
You have until MOTHER'S DAY (Sunday May 10th) midnight to post your comment…. Meanwhile, I will be getting your fabric squares ready (that together with a trillion other things I have to do for Quilt Market!). Be sure to include your e-mail address to contact you…
I have a lot more coming up, so don't forget to subscribe (if you are not family yet, of course) to get a jump on future give-aways and much more.
By the way, stay tuned for the third sneak peak. The name? SPELLBOUND.
Handmade rocks… So let's keep on stitching!

I’m not a mom, but I am usually the daughter who always makes handmade gifts. I would love to spend the day with my mother and grandmothers at a great Mexican restaurant having brekafast. I’m just getting into sewing and it’s a skill I wish my grandmother had strenght to teach me, but I’m setting out to teach myself and this assortment would give me a great start to my new adventure!

What lovely fabrics! My answer is very simple…My three children all live in three different countries from me. I live in France and one lives in Australia, one in New Zealand and one in South Africa. A perfect, perfect Mother’s Day would be for all of us to be together on this special day.

I’m a new mum and have just started to get an hour to my self each day. bliss! …not that the hour happens all at once, mind you.
My perfect mothers day would be to sleep in, brekkie in bed followed by a good three way snuggle with hubby and bub. I’ll never achieve the first wishful thought but the other two are guaranteed.

On Mother’s Day, I love a walk in the woods and exchanging hanging plants with my own mother. My children are a little young still, so our celebrations are simple and sweet (i.e. dandelions picked from the yard). Happy Mother’s Day everyone!

My wish for a perfect Mother’s Day would be to spend the entire day with the 4 most inspritational women in my life, they have all passed on, my mother, my mother-in-law and my two grandmothers. We would all gather together with my children and grandchildren, sharing stories of hardships, experiences learned along the way and how much we cherish, love and respect each other. To think of them, makes me feel calm and comforted. I am a better person because of their love and guidance.

My perfect Mother’s Day would be to have my daughter and I knitting on the couch together, watching our favourite movies for the afternoon and then order dinner in. She recently learned how to knit but doesn’t do it often. My husband can do what he wants as long as he cleans up after dinner.

the perfect mother’s day. . . a yummy breakfast followed by som erelaxing fun with the family–board games, outside play. . . maybe a little time on my own to read. Ideally, I would see my mother and grandmother. I know I will talk to them both:)

My perfect Mother’s Day includes sleeping in, then eating a delicious brunch on the porch surrounded by my beautiful (nonexistent) garden while wearing a non-stained bathrobe and watching my two daughters romp happily in the yard. In this fantasty, my two daughters actually changed out of their pjs and combed their hair on their own! What else… some reading in the shade, a little gardening, and then possibly one of my all-time favorite activities, sitting on the floor surrounded by fabric mixing and matching and daydreaming about everything I’m going to sew!

This mother’s day is more important for me than past ones because my mom just helped me through a really hard time. So I feel extra close to her and I appreciate her so much more than I have before in my adult life. It’s easy to think you grow up and don’t need your mom much anymore. I want to make her feel special.

A perfect Mother’s Day for me would be if my Mom, deceased since 1968, could be here to share a Mother’s Day with me and my five children who never got a chance to meet her. Age 27 is too young to lose your mother. Thanks for hosting a giveaway…love your fabric, especially the Color Splash line! Hugs, Finn

This Mother’s Day our newest daughter is going to be dedicated at church. If we add in a great lunch out and some fun times playing with our toddler, then I’m happy! To top it off, the day would become perfect if both angels took a 4 hour nap so I can sew a little & nap a little. :)

I’m a mom for 4 years now, and I must say that I enjoy mothersday very much. We have it on 25th of March here in Slovenia. It was really special. Gaja, my oldest girl, made a present for me at nursery school and she sang me a song. i was crying. She was so lovely and cute. I hugged her and we spent a lovely afternoon together. Nothing special. Just our family together with a lot of flowers from my hubby and kisses.

I would love a day without having to cook, clean, or even load a dish into the dishwasher.

My perfect mother’s day gift would be, oddly enough, a weekend of freedom. I’d love a mini vacation (even at home!) where I could sleep in, eat ice cream whenever and not have to worry about sharing (and making a hyper kid), and being able to go out at night!
Ahh, the joys of motherhood!
