As you all know, I have been planning on having another give-away for quite a while now, but I wanted to wait for a special occasion… So here it is, for all those soon to be mommies, new mommies, or more experienced mommies… this is your time to get pampered by me. So once again, I'm giving away some of my babies!
This time there will be 6 lucky winners and each will get 40 (forty) 6 1/2" squares in an assortment of all my collections, just to play and have pure fun…
So here's the deal, just share with me and other readers…
WHAT WOULD BE THE PERFECT MOTHER'S DAY FOR YOU?
I am pretty sure you all have wonderful plans.
So I guess you are wondering, who wins? Oh well, since I struggled sooo much choosing the winners for my last give-away, I'm leaving it to chance (and I'm sure this will not be any different- you have so many great stories!!!). I will choose six RANDOM winners, so…. GOOD LUCK!
You have until MOTHER'S DAY (Sunday May 10th) midnight to post your comment…. Meanwhile, I will be getting your fabric squares ready (that together with a trillion other things I have to do for Quilt Market!). Be sure to include your e-mail address to contact you…
I have a lot more coming up, so don't forget to subscribe (if you are not family yet, of course) to get a jump on future give-aways and much more.
By the way, stay tuned for the third sneak peak. The name? SPELLBOUND.
Handmade rocks… So let's keep on stitching!
Patricia

My idea of a Perfect Mother’s Day. I would love to have my son with me (he just came back to the states from Afghanistan/Iraq for the 3rd time) for the day. To touch him, hold his hand, having the feelings of knowing my son is away from the war and safe in my home. My daughter would takes me to Bingo on this day Ias she does every year). My husband will cook a lovely dinner for me. In between all this activity I am being pampered lounging inside or outside with a glass of ice tea and a good book. Since my mother passed away last year I will be calling my mother-in-law to wish her Happy Mother’s Day.

A very generous give-away. Thank you very much. I am a mom of 2 wonderful children.
My perfect Mother’s day would be to spend a morning with both my Mom and my Mother-In-Law, just having tea/coffee and a chat with them both.
Then afterward, at home in the afternoon, stitching to my hearts content and teaching my youngest child (she’s 11 years old)to sew and some pampering from my hubby.

My idea of a perfect Mother’s Day would be spending time with all four of my children and my adorable granddaughter. A wonderful dinner out so that I don’t have to spend any time in my kitchen that day. I would love a vase of Iris, my absolute favorite candy, Fannie May truffles. After dinner I’d love to spend the rest of my day in my sewing room where my Ragdoll cat who adores me spends his entire day trying to help me and where I can do some embroidery and/or sewing with no interruptions from text messages or phone calls. Of course, anyone coming into my sewing room with hugs or kisses are always welcome. New fabric is always welcome also and especially this very nice fabric in the giveaway.

I’m not a mother, but I’m excited because I’ll get to see both my mom and my grandma for Mother’s Day. I’m planning on giving gifts and taking them out for lunch before I have to head home (out of town). I can’t wait!

I am not a mother myself, however for my mom I know for a fact that the perfect mother’s day gift (followed closely by a face lift) is to spend the day with both her daughters (hasn’t seen my sister in almost 2 years) her mom (who just happens to be the coolest -and crafty- grandma in the history of human kind) in Las Vegas.
As said I know it for a fact since she emailed me about it.
Good luck to everyone! and thank you for such a wonderful giveaway! :D
happy mother’s day!

A perfect mother’s day gift would be seeing my mom again and having time and inclination for a LONG talk. It’s nearing a year and a half since we last saw each other – the problem with living on opposite ends of the globe.

Ooh– pretty fabric! Since I have two preschoolers, it’s tempting to say that the perfect mother’s day would be a day spent in peaceful silence! But, really, I think that I’d just like to be able to do the “fun things” with my kiddos, leaving all the undesirable stuff– naps, cleaning, getting snacks, more milk, etc.– to my husband so I could have just a little alone time. (And sew!)

I wish I could spend Mother’s Day with my mom thousands of miles away and with my one year old. My mom just retired and I want her to get back into sewing.

I am a mom to two little girls with a third girl on the way in August. My perfect Mother’s Day would be breakfast in bed made by my husband. And then the rest of the day would be me relaxing and doing whatever I wanted to do with my husband taking care of the girls. Maybe it would end with a nice back massage from my husband too. Wow, I’m really putting him to work! Ha!

I just need some time alone. I hate to sound so plaintive, but, really, that’s all I want. Then, to be happy to see my family again. To have a chance to miss them just a little.

Hmm, I haven’t really even decided what to tell my husband is the perfect Mother’s Day because I can’t decide!
Definitely having my husband change ALL the diapers. And I’d like to have some fun with my girls, but then I’d also like time alone without the possibility of interruption. Ahhh, a nice quiet house without requests for, well, anything!

My perfect Mother’s Day would to not cook, not one little thing, all day long. Everyone would be nice and happy, and would cater to my every whim! I would be served breakfast in bed, and be taken out to lunch and dinner. Just after lunch, I would open a package containing fabrics I had won on a blog (oh yeah, major hint lol) and create something fabulous with them late into the night:)

Hopefully we’ll have the perfect mother’s day next weekend. After missing the last few mother’s days because of living abroad, all my relatives are getting together for the whole weekend. We’ll all spend a lot of time together, enjoy the sunshine, eat lots and all in all have a great time =)

My mom lives far away, in South Africa. I’m across the ocean in the UK. Although it’s not going to happen, I’d love nothing more than to be able to spend mother’s day embroidering or quilting with her, as she’s the one who taught me almost everything I know.
