I think a perfect Mother’s Day would be to spend with my family and to have them not bicker. I would love to say spend it with them while having tea at a fabulous place – but I think that might be asking for too much.

This will be my very first mother’s day. Our “little miracle” daughter is our joy and delight after many years of heartbreaking infertility. My plans are to just spend the day with her and my husband, playing outside, gardening, eating sandwiches, and enjoying each others company.

A perfect Mother’s Day would be a nice day out with my husband and daughter to a local farmer’s market, then to walk through one of our beautiful parks here. Unfortunately, I am a night shift nurse and I will be sleeping all day on Mother’s day to get ready for work that night.

The most perfect Mother’s Day for me would be getting to spend an entire day with my mother. She has been gone now for 23 years and I miss her terribly. There are so many things I would love to show her and so many things we could talk about. I also need one of her hugs!

What a fantastic way to make a mom’s mind wander… I think my PERFECT Mother’s Day would definitely involve me, my sewing machine, a quiet room, no diapers, and maybe even using the spa day gift certificate that I got for last year’s Mother’s Day. Oh and a fruity cocktail with a paper umbrella.

My perfect Mothers Day would just be some time (not the whole day!) away from my toddler so I can sew without a “button helper” and “needle helper” and “push the pedal on the machine” helper.

My perfect Mother’s Day: waking up to a clean house, my husband cooking our favorite family breakfast, taking the baby to the zoo, or for a hike in the forest, or to the beach, having a picnic, and back home for naptime, and an afternoon of sewing while my husband entertains the baby. Ah, so wonderful.

How beautiful…! My perfect Mother’s Day would be, in fact probably will be, spending the day on our allotment – bit of digging, glass of wine, picknick, bit more digging, listening to birds, and all the while the children playing in their newly built little playhouse. Perfect…

I’m not a mom either, but I plan to spend Mother’s Day with my mother at her home. I’ll make her favorite tacos (cooked outside so as not to make a big mess in the kitchen). Then we’ll go to a lovely place near her house to wander through the arts and crafts fair that day. We both love to sew and quilt so I’d probably share the fabrics with her if I win this generous giveaway, but it would be hard.
