Hi everyone my name is Megan and I am the visual merchandiser
here at Art Gallery Fabrics.

I have been working with the team since
November and have been loving every minute of it. I get to do something amazing and different everyday with an amazing group of people who I love. I am surrounded with beautiful things, fun people, and I get to do what I love as a job. Life couldn't get any sweeter.

My job is to work on a lot of the visuals that you will see here on
our beautiful blog and around all the social media outlets. I have been a sewer and a crafter since the age of three so
my talents are being put to good use here at AGF.

I am a fashion
design graduate so my sewing and pattern-making skills come in handy with tutorials (those are my sewing hands in the Gizmo wallet.)

I love everything handmade and spend
most of my time crafting and baking. I am also the baker behind the Sugar and Spice posts. Some of my favorite things to sew are remakes of 1940s and 1950s clothing and crafts. I am SEW RETRO when it comes to quilting. 

I look forward to creating more tutorials and creating more beautiful things to share.

    Hi Marsha,
    The gizmo wallet is really fun. You can even personalize it by moving pockets or changing their size to fit exactly what you need. I carry mine in my bag when I travel to keep everything protected.

    Hi Missy K,
    Thank you for letting me know that you love the gizmo wallet. I do too, and I take mine everywhere within my purse. I did actually make my sweater. I am not much of a knitter but have lots of practice with my Martha Stewart Crafts Knit and Weave Loom Kit. That sweater was my first attempt at cable knitting on a loom. I love loom knitting because it helps me keep track of my count and gives me a nice clean edge. I am not that skilled with knitting needles. The sweater is just a series of squares that are sewn together on a sewing machine and serged on the inside. If I can loom knit than anyone can. I would love to get better with needles and learn to cable knit this with no sewing.
