Hello lovely makers!

This month is all about celebrating love! I will never forget Valentine's Day at school when we used to send Valentine's cards to each other.

I used to send a bunch of them to friends, teachers, and whomever I wanted to make happy.  However, there was that one Valentine's card that usually made my heart beat a little faster. ;) I usually didn't sign it and I was afraid that the receiver will find out who the card is from. Those are such great memories of childhood crushes…;)

Today, Valentine's Day continues to be special for me. First of all my dearest R.I.P. Grandmother's name was Valentina and I celebrate her Name's Day (Polish tradition pays much more attention to Name's Day than Birthdays) and it's my wedding Anniversary as well! Oh I love Valentine's!

This year I decided to make cute handmade Valentines cards for 3 people I want to give them to. I experimented with sewing on paper and I have to admit I had so much fun! The project is quick and I think the final patchwork effect is really cute.

I used prints from the Wonderful Things collection by Bonnie Christine. I simply love the watercolor fabrics she designed for this collection.
