Happy first Monday of December!

Now that we REALLY are into the holiday season, time finds us really busy preparing everything but most impostantly it finds us busy making things for our loved ones. 

As if we needed an excuse to make and sew, but oh how we love it. Getting really inspired by someone we care about, and making something for them that can be treasured for years and years (and hopefully be passed on) is one of the best ways of creating.

What is your favourite thing to make and gift? I love making mini quilts. I confess I have not made many, but I really enjoy it because even if I have friends or family members who are not really into quilting, a mini quilt can be easily adapted to many styles.

Another thing I like about minis is that they can be made in many different shapes like these hexagonal ones.
