Hello Friends, 

What are your favorite things about Summer? Having BBQ’s with family and friends, chilling poolside reading a good book, or the longer days of sunshine? Whatever it may be Dana Willard has recreated the Summer season into a great modern fabric collection perfect for all apparel markers, quilt makers and crafty DIYers!  Today I want to share with you the “Gentle Breeze” Block I sewed up using some of my faves from Dana’s collection.

My new favorite way to make HST’s is the four at a time method. All you need is two squares of fabric, place them right sides together and sew around the entire square at ¼, pivoting at each corner! Then cut your piece on both diagonals and viola!
