Make Straps 3 Different Ways With Art Gallery Fabrics 2.5 Edition Binding Fabric

Hello Sewing Friends,

I have been sewing with AGF’s 2.5 Edition Binding Fabrics lately and each time it feels like magic and I have barely scratched the surface on how you can use them, not just in binding quilts but in so many other ways. One of my favorite ways yet was sewing up an apron with Midsummer fabrics. Make sure to check it out here: Midsummer Apron. One of my new favorite ways to create with AGF’s 2.5 Fabrics is to make straps. Today we will be learning to make 3 different straps. I chose “Home Bound” from Maureen Cracknell’s collection called Abode to make my straps. I love the boho elements and vibrant colors.  With four linear, small scale designs, 2.5 Edition is perfect for small details such as making straps for a wide variety of different projects.

Watch the video below and let me know which strap you will be making the most of!

After creating this video I want to make straps with every single 2.5 Edition print to have on hand for zipper pouches, clutches, bags, dresses and tank tops to name a few. They are so fun to sew up and therapeutic to make, that sometimes all ya need is a good strap making session to clear your mind and get the creative juices flowing for your next sewing project. Stay tuned to the AGF blog for more cool sewing tutorials using AGF 2.5 Edition!
