Color Mode.

Outside was gray and rainy all day long… but inside my studio was all about COLOR!!

I'm already on spring-summer mode, that means, my "color mode" switch is officially ON…

I want to officially introduce to you PURE ELEMENTS

The hues are so pure and vibrant that invite your eyes to a feast with color and joy!

These colors are inspiring me to work on new and exciting projects more than ever, since I feel they add a special touch and really accentuate my patterned fabrics, what do you think?

I promise I will post some pictures of new stuff made with the solids as soon as I get the chance, I would love to inspire you, in some way, to create new beautiful things. I know sometimes we can stack up on bundles and bundles of fabric and have no idea what to do with them, so I love being able to share ideas and suggestions with you!

So today I was feeling colorful and just felt like doing a little photo-shoot with my very first PURE ELEMENTS bundle… hope you like it!

Pure1

Pure2

Pure3

Pure6
Just can't wait to get my hands on the sewing machine with these!

Is there any project in particular you would like to see with PURE ELEMENTS? What do you have in mind? I'd love to hear from you…

Have a beautiful weekend!

Love,

Pat.

Gosh I don’t usually get excited about solids but I really feel quite taken with these. I think it has something to do with the beautiful pale background in the photos. I have had a quilt design in my head for at least 6 months now which was inspired by a photo of some paint pots of varying hues of a few colours. To complete it I need some solids and I do like the colours of yours. They definitely are vibrant and pure!

All I can think of is a bold, bright hexagon based quilt in mixing diamond and flower shapes…A true grandmother’s flower garden!
The photos are breath-takingly beautiful. I love them!

Very nice! I especially like the contrast of them against the white vintage cake plate (I must find one of those too!)
I think some sort of modern seasonal door or wall hanging… I’m not usually into those, but with such great bold colors, it would be a nice to put something up to add some warmth to winter, or rotate it in for summer!

Pat adore your creativity. colors are fabulous. I found your site thru Jackie at Cranton Village Quiltworks and so glad I did. Enjoyed your interview. Interesting to learn your favorite part is the creative as that is my favorite part of making quilts. Look forward to getting your beautiful fabrics and I’ll do my best to make beautiful quilts from them.
