Color Me Inspired!

Bonjour Everyone,

This morning as the smell of blueberry muffins filled my home I was hit with a spark of inspiration.

Somewhere between "Danse, Danse, Danse"ing to Mika – Elle Me Dit and singing into my spatula I started dreaming of a weekend in Paris. In my mind I am strolling through Montmartre walking up and down hills, one rue after another of lace trimmings and antique buttons on original vintage cards. There is no place like it in the world.

I hope you feel as inspired as I am this morning. I know Kat, the music genius, gives you all of the amazing tunes to listen to … I have been listening to Elegant Exhuberance for days.. but may I suggest We are Enfant Terrible- Ce que tu veux de moi is another great song to dance around the house to if you feel like sharing my fun Parisian state of mind.

I am going to go pour myself another cup of coffee, eat a muffin, fill my home with music and dream of Paris. Who's joining me?

I am joining you in dreaming of Paris. We just got back from spending Christmas in Paris and I don’t think my feet have touched the ground yet. Your photos send me right back, especially the macaroons! Is the background of your photos fabric? How can I find it?

    Hi Ana,
I am so happy that you are joining me in my French state of mind. The polaroids tucked around my photos and scrapbooks are fabrics. They are Coquette designed by AGF In-House Studio and Dreaming in French designed by Pat Bravo. The background is a combination of vintage letter scans, doodles, and flowers from those fabrics. I hope that answers your question. If there is anything else I can do to help please feel free to ask.

Thank you for your prompt reply. The fabrics you mentioned are beautiful. I was looking for the taupe background with the bicycle. I guess this is vintage letter scans and not fabric?
