Bike Lane [Quilt Tutorial]

Banner

Hello everyone!

So the end of summer is beginning. I love all seasons, but I have not experienced living through a freezing winter, so I could understand why a lot of people really cherish the warmer weather. One of the good things about warm (let's say no-snow) weather is that one can do many things outdoors.

Bicycling is one of my favourites, and when we released the Cleta collection, we showed you this Bike Lane quilt on the LookBook. I know some time has passed BUT this quilt is still perfect to take to the park and of course it will translate incredibly into the colder seasons.

Hello Donna Joy! We don’t have a PDF for this as we wanted to do it in blog format, but if you are looking to print it, I would suggest that you paste it into a Word document and it should work. Thank you!

Hi Kirsten – Thank you! I think your brother will treasure a quilt like this one. Some of these bike prints also come in knit, which could be fun for another gift like a t-shirt.

The directions and pictures were great but since I’m rather new to quilting, I didn’t see in the directions as to what pieces were background fabric and what pieces were the bicycle. Can you help me understand this better?

I love this pattern and as a mom of sons who have ridden the STP multiple times (Seattle to Portland) I would love a guide with direction as what pieces are what color IE: bike 1 & 2 and background. I actually want to make 2 of these but just need some clarification as to what is what. Thank you so much.
