Say Hello to The Denim Studio by AGF

TheDenimStudio_600px

Hey everyone!

We hope you all are having a great Wednesday! We are on cloud nine with the official release of The Denim Studio! We announced our newest substrates back in October for Quilt Market and there has been a BUZZ 'til this day. With our newest substrate, we aim to bring you endless possibilities! We have been working very hard to reinvent the quintessential American fabric, and we're excited to bring you an awesome array of 25 denim SKUs. Here's a little denim video to get your inspiration going!

Lets talk about our Denim Prints. For the first time ever, we are bringing PRINTED DENIM to the sewing industry. These lightweight fabrics consist of beautiful floral, geometric, and texturized designs printed on classic denim blue backgrounds. My favorite denim print is "Painterly Wash" because it reminds me of an impressionist painting.

We also have a selection of Solid Textured Denim in four rich colors. This medium weight denim is great for projects that need a bit more structure or to add a pop of color. Take a look at this bag made with all of the Textured Denims, isn't it to die for? All of the AGF girls want to take this bag home…

Then there's our oh so soft, Solid Smooth Denim! Its light weight, luxurious feel makes it a dream to sew with and is great for garments.

Pillows square

Last but not least, we have our Premium Linen Blend and Lovey Dobby. The linen-cotton blend in a natural color and dobby are ideal for boundless combinations. Dobby is great for garments due to its drape and softness, while the linen is great for contrast. Look at how well both go together!

AGF denim even works well in quilts! Thinking of making a few quilts with denim?  Find these FREE patterns available in the lookbook.

Love the equilateral triangle denim quilt! I would love to make one with triangles instead of squares. The color block bag is fab too. Denim works great in my life because I share space with kids and dogs!
