We hope you had wonderful week and stayed safe from Hurricane Matthew ( if you live in S. Florida like us). Let me tell you, since the AGF HQ are located in South Florida we got scared for a moment. Fortunately we are all safe and ready to get back to work to keep inspiring you!

It’s time to reveal the color of October in our Color Fun blog series. And I cannot be more excited to announce that we chose for this month my favorite color: grey!Grey is sooo elegant with a touch of cool sophistication. It’s a happy combination between 2 of the most classy colors: black and white.

How to wear grey

As the seasons change we want to wear more muted colors. Among them is the soft shade of grey, which made its appearances on many famous runways. Many of us are getting inspired by the grey fashion trend.

Are you wondering how to match grey with other colors?

This cool shade simply goes with anything! Grey looks great in a head-to-toe looks or as a accent color. But what I like the most is combining it with vivid reds, greens or bright yellows. Experiment with adding a hint of other colors too! See how easily you can create completely different looks! Also, different shades of grey and textures look great when combined together!

Grey in quilting

Grey quilts are modern and simply beautiful. Feel free to combine grey fabrics with black, white, green, plum, yellow. You're sure to make a lovely modern quilt with these colors!

If combining bright colors with grey seems a little too loud for you, mix it with pastels instead. Pastels add a great pop of color to grey and will make your quilt designs looking delicate and dreamy!
