How to piece half square triangles!

Hello!

Recently, I've been thinking of getting more into quilting. I would like to make my first quilt. I think it would be awesome! :) I personally love half square triangle quilt designs. They look beautiful, modern,  and I realized they are very easy to make. Which is very helpful when you're a beginner quilter! Also, not so long ago my friend Ola wrote a post about 5 free quilt patterns you can make with half square triangles! I will definitely use one of those free quilt patterns.  Ohh! And I also made a little graphic to explain you how to piece half square triangles. This graphic is very helpful for those who are learning how to do it (like me!). You will have 2 half square triangles in 4 quick steps!

 Now, let's take a look!

There are also cheat sheets available that tell you how much larger you need (usually 3/4in) to cut the squares to achieve the finished half quarter size
