Hey there, fabulous fabric lovers!

With every season that comes and goes, it’s always fun to pick out fabrics and colors that coordinate. It’s currently the peak of summer and it’s a great time to do a little sewing with bright colors that show the beauty of this season. For this reason, I’m excited to share with you a little bundle of 12 fabrics that are great for summer.

When putting together this bundle I chose a mix of geometric prints, florals, and vibrant solid fabrics to show off summer’s happy mood. If you’re wondering, “how did she get all those bright colors to coordinate?” I have a little tip. When curating a bundle, I always choose one fabric I love that shows the gist of what I’m trying to represent. In this case, I wanted to show how bright and fun summer is so my color palette was based on the Budquette Abloom print by Bari J. from our Abloom Fusions collection. From there I chose prints with different sizes that have similar colors to my “main print.”

Here’s what I came up with:

As you can see, I focused on fabrics that had teal, green, orange, yellow, and some pink. Then to balance the busyness of the prints, I chose some solid fabrics that coordinated with the color palette.

And….ta daa! Here’s the final summer inspired bundle! Wouldn’t these be great for a lap quilt?
