AGF Mood Monday – Food

Hello!

Last week we were at International Quilt Market in Houston presenting all the new surprises coming soon from AGF, which is why I skipped Mood Monday, but I am back with a topic for which most of us are always in the mood: FOOD.

Do you also feel that when holiday season approaches the topic of food is more emphasized than usual? For one, everything is infused with pumpkin (and I want it all!) and sprinkled with cinnamon.

I love to think about food as something that can always be new. It would be impossible for me to pick a favorite, but I LOVE fruits and trying different flavors from all over the world. Figuring out how to include them in menus for days like Thanksgiving is an exciting plan, too. Although there are always some staples and passed-down recipes from family traditions, I'm one who likes to switch it up every year.

What about you? Do you have a favorite food or cuisine? How about any treasured family dishes?

My aunt’s dressing for Thanksgiving dinner! Never found better. Also my grandmother’s “Tea Cakes.” A wonderful not-too-sweet cookie!! Eager to hear other people’s faves.
