Indie Folk: The last of Pat Bravo’s Indie Trilogy

Hello, fabric friends!

We are back from quilt market and more energized than ever to release a new lookbook! Can you guess which collection is next? If you guessed Indie Folk by Pat Bravo you are right! This collection is the third installment in Pat’s Indie trilogy and it’s so good! The prints are filled with saturated colors, boho vibes, and intricate designs that are ideal for EPP, fussy cutting, and so much more.

One of my favorite prints in this collection is “Khokloma Burgundia” because the intricate florals remind me of Eastern European folk art. This print is so versatile because it can be used to make funky garments or bold home decor projects like pillows.

The possibilities are simply endless! I encourage you to explore the lookbook with tons of swoon worthy projects that you can make with Indie Folk.

I love the Indie lines. They are perfect for my DIL. The quilt is gorgeous. I even have a shabby yellow Louie chair. Only mine is covered in 70s vintage yellow patent leather.

I just started working on the Folklore quilt – I think there is a cutting error in the instructions for Fabric J – it says to cut the rectangular pieces 4 X 2 – I did and they don’t match up to the 2-1/2″ HS triangles. I believe the instructions should say to cut the pieces 4-1/2 X 2-1/2. Unfortunately I did not catch this error and have cut all of mine 4 X 2 – I just hope I have enough fabric to recut all of those pieces, not to mention how much fabric I wasted.

Hi. we are cutting fabric . 2 7/8×2 7/8. this is to be cut in half for HST. were do you place it to make it come out right? If you leave it as a square and sew it, it is off when you sew all the blocks together?? Hope this makes sense? So…we cut a 2 1/2 in square and it seemed to match up beautifully!!
